    Immutep Limited Delivers Impressive Results Across Multiple Oncology Trials

    Immutep, the clinical-stage biotech company, is making waves in the oncology space with its latest quarterly update. The pivotal TACTI-004 Phase III trial in first-line non-small cell lung cancer (1L NSCLC) is building momentum, with 78 sites and 23 countries now approved for the study. The INSIGHT-003 trial also achieved a remarkable 60.8% response rate and 90.2% disease control rate in 1L NSCLC patients, highlighting the potential of Immutep's lead candidate efti.

    In head and neck cancer, the TACTI-003 trial delivered excellent median overall survival of 17.6 months, outperforming historical standards of care. Immutep is now seeking FDA guidance on potential paths to approval for this patient population. The company also announced positive results from the investigator-initiated EFTISARC-NEO trial in soft tissue sarcoma, where the efti combination significantly exceeded the study's pre-specified endpoint.

    On the autoimmune front, Immutep's first-in-class LAG-3 agonist IMP761 demonstrated substantial T cell suppression and a favourable safety profile in the ongoing Phase I study. With a strong cash position of A$129.69 million, Immutep is well-positioned to continue advancing its diverse pipeline and addressing significant unmet needs in cancer and autoimmune diseases.

    In Australië inderdaad lager, maar voorbeurs VS vooralsnog hoger. Neemt niet weg dat ik ook niet begrijp waarom dit aandeel op zo'n uitverkoopkoers staat.
