    Hoog dividend of niet, dit blijft toch wel het lelijke eendje in Bel20. Ook niets van updates, nieuwe producten..jongens toch

    Het aandeel Melexis is de favoriet van zakenbank Jefferies in aanloop naar de cijfers over het derde kwartaal. Dit bleek maandag uit een analistenrapport van de bank.

    "Melexis is onze topfavoriet onder de small en midcaps", aldus analist Janardan Menon, die verder ook STMicroelectronics tipt.

    "We prefereren fabrikanten van chips voor de industrie en de auto-industrie", zei Menon. Deze bedrijven zullen "tenminste" de marktverwachtingen halen in het derde kwartaal.

    Voor Melexis hanteert Jefferies een koopadvies met een koersdoel van 84,00 euro

    Kent iemand de overlap tussen de producten die Nexperia en Melexis aanbieden? Zou in dat geval exportrestricties significant kunnen bijdragen tot Melexis' omzet en winst?

    Uit De Tijd: De onrust over de impact van de Nexperia-saga op de bevoorrading van chips voor de autosector weegt ook op twee Belgische bedrijven: autochipontwerper Melexis verliezen respectievelijk 2,4 en 3,1 procent.

    Ben toch ook benieuwd. Concurrenten die niet echt goede cijfers voorlegden… wordt case wordt zal ik deze belegging langer aan moeten houden dan gepland. Was nochtans heel overtuigd van de resultaten maar zie meer en meerdat het herstel id markt geleidelijk is. Afwachten. Maar auto industrie kan niet blijvend in het slop zitten en daar profiteert melexis als 1e van.

    Sales for the third quarter of 2025 were 215.3 million EUR, a decrease of 13% compared to the same quarter of the previous year and an increase of 2% compared to the previous quarter. The EUR/USD exchange rate evolution had a negative impact of 2% on sales compared to the same quarter of last year and a negative impact of 1% on sales compared to the previous quarter.

    The net result was 27.5 million EUR or 0.68 EUR per share, a decrease of 46% compared to 51.2 million EUR or 1.27 EUR per share in the third quarter of 2024 and a decrease of 27% compared to the previous quarter.

    De presentaties gisteren op de capital markets day waren teleurstellend. Alle respect voor de managers en hun kennis binnen het bedrijf en sector. Maar Biron en van Griensven in het bijzonder, dit is 0,0 inspiratie voor beleggers. De CIO kwam enigszins nog uit de verf maar op de Q&A gaan ze ten onder. Mooi bedrijf, mooie technologieën, gruwelijk management.
